yes this old chestnut.

There is allot of work going on on Radars/Electronics and weapon systems. And there has been some small boats and cranes but could we have an update of the general equipment sheet or some country specfic sheets with deck fittings, boats, railings, RAS rigs etc?

I think you misunderstand the issue. Yes, we want updating parts sheet concerning weapons and electronics, but the issue here is updating for all other stuffs ;)

there is work being done on part sheets like the equipment sheet under the surface. one large problem is though, that most ships differ, and apart from the sb standard parts (railing, doors, lights) there isn't much that really NEEDS to be on there. these standard parts are well represented on the old equipment sheet. this is part of the reason why the equipment sheets are in no hurry to be made.

please note that this is my view and not neccerely the view of the moderating team entirely, as I cannot speak for them, but as no mod does..... ;)

It's not like someone stops you guys from doing that. If one is capable of drawing a ship, fixing up some deck equipment and/or other parts shouldn't be a problem.

I'm busy. I have a (small) social life, and this quarter I've got a rather heavy school schedule.

If someone wants to clean up the sheets (remove old parts, organize them, ect.) I have no problem checking the work. I just don't have the time to do it myself these days.

There's really not that much that needs to be updated. I was about to post my personal sheet but realized it's nothing that isn't already available on the equipment sheets.
