Propulsion: COGAD arrangement. Diesel-Electric cruise powerplant which is very quiet, has no mechanical connection to propellers and diesels are above watelrine to further reduce noise, electric drive also increases endurance and the generators drive the propellers and the electrical system. Four Paxman Valenta 12 RPA 200 CZ diesels delivering 7,000hp and two RR Spey SM1A for fast running delovering 34,000hp to two shafts.
Performance: 28 kts clean fast, 20 knots electric cruise; range 8,500nm at 15 kts
Complement: 12 + 146 with a maximum of 17 + 188 possible

Well I've decided to scrap my previous hull design in favor of a slightly larger one that can fit more equipment on board. I'll post a WIP as soon as it's ready. I'm going to keep the design I've ditched though in case I ever want to use it in future.

There's a fair amount of WAGing involved, so take it with a grain of salt. I've yet to draw the towed array. Does anyone have a drawing of the installation?
Anyway, this ship takes a rather blunt force approach to speed which is why she's producing a grand total of 32.000 kW when everything is rocking.
In case anyone's wondering about the name, the RN has had at least two ships by that name. One was a captured slaver, the other a hired armed cutter. There's also mentions of a third ship, a hired armed lugger, though it may in fact have been the same ship as the cutter.
