It looks very good, certainly in keeping with the time period.
Remember to leave room for the ship's boats, at this time they tended to carry a large amount of whalers and yachts.

A much more interesting project, worthy of developing. My only advice apart from what has already been given is in relation to the forward section, from the bridge to the bow - it looks too short; so I would extend forward of the turret. :)

A minor update to the rigging and other small features such as doors and some stairways and ladders.

Very nice. A few comments and suggestions, though, if I may: you did find my boat sheet, which is all good; however a ship of this size would carry, at least 8-10 boats of various kinds. If you don't know what kind to use, I can compile a list of a typical complement for the time period.
Also, a nice, well thought-out and -executed drawing like yours surely deserves a full hull rendering, don't you think?

I will only comment on the drawing (I haven't enough knowledge to comment the ship) but it certainly looks very well. As Jabba pointed out there is a lack of crediting and you ought to move your drawing to a SB template ;)

Here's the final, with all of the rigging, lifeboats, railings etc. as well as the rest of the ship below the waterline.

I held off putting into a standard SB template until I was certain that it was completely finished. Everything on the ship besides minor details such as searchlights , doors, life rafts and lifeboats, etc. are drawn by me. I can't remember if smaller details like that are credit necessary besides the lifeboats, but I don't think so. (If I am wrong, however, do tell me.)

So if this looks all well and good, then I can put it into the template!

the mid/bow hull looks good but the rudder looks a bit big and cruiser stern terminates very abruptly
