@ heuhen: first of all: my saviour with the deck plan! this kind of things is exactly why I worked on belowdeck stuff.
on the ship: it might be a bit early for mk 48. and if you use it, that might not be the best position to put it, so close to your mast.
I suppose I can 'advice' you to use the new WM egg from the dutch parts sheet, as the USN sheet hasn't got the new one yet
other then that..... looks more or less good, won't go in depth until it's finished
@ rifleman: she looks a bit underweaponed for an large ASW destroyer, especially in the ... well.. ASW aspect. her lines look ok, although some parts do not correspondent because you took them from different ships drawn and/or build in different years.

ASW wise her principle ASW weapon is sitting outside the Hangar as is the case with most ASW platforms from the 80's onwards. She is principally a sensor platform with Towed Array sonar hull mounted sonars. She also has 4 Mk 32 torpedo tubes look to the front end of the Hangar 2 each side.

@Rifleman , yes nato hull classification FFG is guided missile frigate, but what he tried to say is it is a ASW design challenge. U do have the Seaking ASW platform and the Torps, but thats it.
I do like your design but i would say i miss some ASW capacity for the size of the ship, still thats my personel opinion.

if you had 2 seakings it would be enough, but for now she is only just fitting for an ASW ship.
also, an 5500 ton design with multirole weapons.... yeah that's what I call an destroyer xD

I rearrange some of the weapons, partially enclosed the aft deck, draw in ready for not equipped with place for missile silo on the front deck, sea-sparrow with separate illumination system for faster engage targets, and the hull is finish.

heuhen, the USN WW2 camouflage color sheet is inaccurate past 1945. As far as I know those paints were not used by any navy other than the USN, and never after 1945.

interesting the helecopter capicity Most ASW ships of that era carried 1 aircraft the Halifax class had 1 seaking as had the type 22/II & Type 22/II, Kortenaer 1x Lynx and most of the Historic Canadian, UK and Dutch escorts carried 1 helecopter.
F806 and F801 Tromp class weighed in at over 5000 tons and i've seen them listed as FFG's.

Since the 80's the principle ASW weapons systems is the helecopter Airforces Monthly described Merlin as a flying Frigate. However the best ASW platform is the SSK(N) or SSK
