Only thing that pokes my eyes are the drak lines in the bridge. Perhaps a ligther shade would look better?

Interesting historical sidebar re Centaur's last upgrade. In June 63 she began a five month refit at Pompey during which her last CO Captain Steiner joined the ship. He wanted the ship to recieve the type 965 radar, as otherwise her radar fit would be too outdated for the upcoming commission (she had types 982 'hayrake' and 983 height finder in front of the mainmast), and the '965 was available in stores but the dockyard were unable to provide a suitable mast for the antennae. Mounting it on top of the mainmast as in her sister Albion was ruled out as it would displace the TACAN beacon, so an alternative was sought. The Weapon class radar picket destroyer HMS Battleaxe was laid up awaiting disposal at the time and Captain Steiner hit on the idea of using her radar mast (which had been built specifically fr the 965 AKE-1 single bedstead). However this particular piece of ingenuity brought a formal rebuke from the Admiralty but personal congratulations from Vice Admiral Frank Hopkins, 5th Sea Lord responsible for Naval Aviation. Also at this time, although the ship was partially air conditioned, some mess decks were not and suffered in the heat of the tropics, so smaller ships laid up in Pompey were raided for air conditioners to make life aboard bearable.

It beats me why they didn't refit her into a dedicated ASW helicopter/Gannet carrier at minimal cost.Im quite pleased with the drawing and am trying to enlist ALVAMA into some plan view aircraft to finish her off nicely.

Good work and very nicely done. Frankly it's good to see those ships coming along so nicely.

Yeah, it was a sort of jungle camo used in the Borneo campaign.
