An/SPS-10 is wrong. Just AS-36 and AS-37 have AN/SPS-10. The rest of the ships
of this class were fitted with AN/SPS-55.
The rest is looking good.
I think it's time to move this one into the real design section.

You sure? This is the AS-39 Emory Land class, not the AS-36 L.Y. Spear class. Also all the pics I have of the Emory Land show a birdcage style antenna, leading me to believe it was an AN/SPS-10, not the bar style AN/SPS-55.

The early versions of the SPS-55 used the SPS-10 antenna. I ran into the same problem with my LST-1179.

Sometimes it's weird. We all have right. Different radarsystems - same antenna
but the U.S.S. Emory S. Land is one ship of the L. Y. Spear-Class.
A reference for an example: "Seemacht USA", by Stefan Terzibaschitsch, Page 670

No it's not.
The Emory S Land is it's own class.

The ships of the L. Y. Spear-Class were build in two groups. First group:

AS-36 U.S.S. L. Y. Spears (FY65)
and
AS-37 U.S.S. Dixon (FY66).

AS-38 (FY66) was stricken).

The second group of the ships are:

AS-39 U.S.S. Emory S. Land (FY72)
AS-40 U.S.S. Frank Cable (FY73)
and
AS-41 U.S.S. McKee (FY77)

That's why some resources are speaking about a Emory S. Land-Class but that's not right.

That's the official DANFS history. It doesn't get more official than that, hence the Emory S. Land is indeed its own class. It may be a subclass of the L. Y. Spear-Class, but the USN considers it a separate class.

Edit: Hmm, that's odd. Apparently the MSC and the USN doesn't agree on the class names.
The MSC calls it the Emory S Land class, the USN the LY Spears Class
Scratch that. The USN Factfile clearly doesn't refer to the Emory S Land. (The basic measurements are wrong)

Edit 2: Given the disparity in size and displacement I think the MSC has it right. (The Emory S Land is both longer and faster than the LY Spears class and it carries a different armament)
