After about a week of learning how to draw in photoshop, I present the Yugumo. Some parts are taken from DP's Yukakazi, forward funnel, main radar, and a few other small things.

The only refs I could find for this are underdetailed drawings and very grainy photographs, this shows especially on the aft deckhouse, so please PM me if you have any good pictures of this area.

Fixed link...very nice drawing, but the prop shafts extending out of the hull are the wrong color.

Good links, emperor_andreas, but port side views are practically useless. Japanese destroyers had a re-load mechanism for their torpedo-tubes, the aft one being on the port side of the aft-deck house. As SB drawings are usually of the starboard side, than a picture of the port side is not necessary.
For you Raxar,

A good effort, and I hope the drawing above helps, if you don't have it already.

Nice, the IJN is sorely under-represented at SB.

Thanks guys. As for Novic, thanks for the pic, I originally drew over that one on paint, but my computer got wiped clean when I was 99% done. I'll do some work on her and post shortly.

Recolored prop shafts, tweaked a few things, and added the type 13 air search radar that I forgot the first time around. Changes to the aft section are based on Novice's drawing, Matt's pic of Makigumo, and DP's Yukikaze.

Not to be nitpicky, but shouldn't the prop shaft be bronze like the propeller itself? Other than that, great drawing! Are you planning to do the late-war refit version of the class as well?

I thought shafts are always colored red on SB ships.
