propulsion: gas is for speed but needs a lot of air and fuel (that is where the intakes are for, large grids to let the air come into, as the only ones you have now on the funnel are just enough to cool the exhaust a bit

the only reason I thought of diesel is that you have now the intakes and uptakes for .... 2 gas turbines, if I'm generous, where the tico has 4.
the tico's have topweight problems because they are based on the spruance hull. the harpoons work in that position, but on an all newbuild ship there are better places.....
look at the spruances and the new perry drawings. antenna's, satcoms, waveguides, stairs, rigging, some more diagonal grid frames. making the frames thicker might help as well.
also, your ship looks more like an burke (1990+ design) then an spruance (1970+ design) or an perry (1977+) so you might want to play with the structure layout. a bit less diagonal might help quite a lot to get it look more like it should.
