Actually you'd be surprised at the number of ships running around painted like this early in the war - even some US destroyers! :o But the only pink ship that I know of is HMS Campbell.

I'll see what I can do!

Spring 1942! (Minus light AA  which is hard to find out about - and radar...)

Its coming along. I take it you've drawn the hull from scratch? Not bad, but a few things to correct. The armour belt is not continued correctly below the waterline. The darker shading looks wrong: its two pixels wide in a quite dark shade, better to have either the one or vary the shades - I'm probably not explaining this well, so just have a look at a similar sized ship on the forum to get the idea. you've 'cut and pasted' one of the screws but taken the shading with it, so it isn't correct. We always give our names in upper and lower case, not capitals.
I'm interested in the change of colour; is this what was applied, or are you on your way to the standard grey? You might want to consider adopting a camouflage as well. Re the extra details, I'll see if I can find anything on the Colony class, but I'm sure others may also be able to help; and you can always google 'Colony class cruisers pictures' to take you to a lot of what is on the web :)

PS: This is the color in the spring of 1942! Then it was back to MBP all over again for a while before a more normal camouflage...

No, rudder is classed as a part. I would still lighten the two shades around the hull edge, they look very dark against the red of the hull; also, where the hull aft steps up to the rudder, it looks 'bitty', because you need to step exactly with two pixel width, to show the continuous curve. And this is now the frustrating part of the drawing process, were the critiques are on such (seemingly) minor points; but if you can bear with it you'll get the result your drawing deserves, and it is quite a good one, so you've obviously got the right approach :)

Nice to see HMS Kenya drawn, and well done too :D A little nit pick; you call it Fiji Class - it could be right - but my sources says the class was named Crown Colony Class? I realize several class's were/are named with more than one name, so it's only an enlightning question ;)
