The Cole was chosen because I specifically know it's received the new fouling release paint rather than because it's famous.

It also requires Phalanx Block 1B, Bushmaster and .50 caliber guns, I'm not sure those surface search radars are accurate anymore, there should be a little antenna sticking out of the TACAN, etc, etc.

Since I've started I may do a little more updating, perhaps even to 2013 standards.
Why? I mean really, why? You are new here and I guess you may have not quite grasped the reason for this forum. That said, I cannot really blame you or any new member for that. Looking across this forum I see a 'slewing' into triviality, with this posting a good example. Really, do we need umpteen updates of every ship in the archive, just because one of them's got a blue hull, or a new aerial? Apart from the countless daft topics being posted, that have absolutely nothing to do with what this forum was established for, we now have a self appointed 'parts police' dictating to other members what gizmo is to be used. What the hell is going on here? Are we loosing the plot? This is meant to be a forum to draw ships and other machines, in either SB or FD scale; and really, that should be what the vast majority of postings should be about. My advice to anyone thinking of joining, or becoming active from a 'lurker', is to first introduce yourself as a matter of courtesy, then, if you have anything to post, put in beginners; and, yes, read all the guidleines.

Thank you for the advice!

I drew a new and unusual vessel before I embarked on this side project!

Perhaps a 50/50 new/old combo is acceptable... :?:

I will draw a new machine then I will add the 7.62mm machine guns, etc!

I'n not sure what you're about here, but my advice remains constant: by all means post your own projects, but we don't need endless minor updates like the one above. The point of the archive is to provide a handy reference. A novel blue hull wouldn't even be seen out of dry dock, so its not needed here :|

My next project is a British cruiser with a novel color scheme!

The previously undocumented HMS Kenya is on the slip and estimated 25% complete!

This project must be put on hiatus.
