It's old and undetailed and I don't like looking at it. Lol.

That's why I'm asking Darth Panda if he plans to redo it, Colosseum. Given that he's done the other American SSBNs... I felt it only natural to ask him to try his hand at a better Ohio-class. No offense, Colosseum.

I don't care... that drawing is from spring of 2008! No offense taken... if I remember right, the drawing is spot-on as far as scale and measurements go, but woefully incomplete with detailing. I could not find adequate sources for putting on all the fancy-schmancy submarine stuff.

My expertise is USN surface combatants 1930-50. :P

And you're doing an excellent job at it.

I had plan to redo it myself with Colo's permission when I (re)drew all the SLBMs of the USN, but with a severe lack of reference pics for details, it proved impossible. :/

It's an active nuclear weapons system - details are intrinsically going to be hard to come by.

I don't live too far from Naval Base Kitsap and Submarine base Bangor where Ohio's are stationed, but even I couldn't do as well as Colo did back in '08.

Well, Colo's Ohio is pretty solid. About all I can tell it needs is something to mark the waterline when the boat's surfaced, and the part below that to be colored red. Am I right?

Okay... Most of the US SSNs and SSBNs on the site have the red bottoms, with the notable exception of the Ohio-class. A case in point: USS Lafayette (SSBN-616).
