I was reading Friedman's U.S. Aircraft Carriers, and I came upon some important text:
Norman Friedmanon page 250 of US Aircraft Carriers wrote:
Protective considerations even extended to the carriers unusual underwater form, a twin-skeg type resembling that of the battleship South Dakota and selected for much the same reason, to permit sufficient underwater protection over an internal magazine pushed aft by the need for internal volume.
Edit: Further research makes me think that you are mixing in certain details from the flush-decked Forrestal class design. I'll post more info later when I'm not on my tablet and I can post an image from Friedman's U.S. Carriers.

@ TimothyC:
Thanks for all the infos.
Yes, I have used all the informations/destails of the Forrrestal reference drawing.
Another member have posted the pic earlier here in this topic.
All this equipment, well, I think there's no other place therefor
and I believe the USS United States would look like so. OK, not to 100%
like in my drawing but I think it's the right way.
The underwater hull in my drawing is a mix of the underwater hull of the Iowa-Class
and the underwater hull of the Forrestal-Class.
Damn, I don't have Firedmans books. I try to get them here step by step!!
The books I have are good but the information of the flushdeck carriers therein are really thin!!

Yeah, use of details from that drawing is probably more-or-less accurate as the Flush-Deck Forrestal was in may ways a direct outgrowth of the CVA-58 design. I guess that makes the big thing for my post above the mention of the Skegs.

OK, I have to make some little changes/updates before I post the "last" drawing
with the "old" underwater hull before I start with the new underwater hull.

Those 5" L/54 Mk 42 gun turrets are wrong, please click the link in Erik's post for the technical drawings of them.
