Here is a design that was from some plans that “Jabba” that where old plans that where scanned into images that He posted under the reference topic. ( thanks Jabba for the time I had fun drawing them up hope you approve.) I still have some work to do. I did not put all the railing on the elevation and still no small boats on the plan view. I like to keep railing for last.

Note: this first image is also the most reasant so any remarks made by other following this where noted and corrected.

Just wondering if you've got the scale right? She looks pretty bloody long for a displacement of 500 ton (by way of comparison the WW2 Flower class corvettes displaced 900-odd tons but were only 64m; the WW1 Flower class Sloop is closer to this design in length but is two and a half time sthe notional displacement).

Chris You are right I screwd up in my math the ship is 200' I must have punched in the wrong number when I scaled it. I hope I don't make the same mistake on my tax return

Is there a way to deleate this topic. I made a mistake on the ship and I have to repair it. I thought I should take this down till I am ready to repost the real drawings.

It's Fine. The subject will be "archived" till you get it re-posted.

fixed but I think my original would have been a better design there is not much room on the 200' ship very few depth charges and not much room for working at the guns. I think a 300' would be better.

The guns looks awfully plain. I'd pick a gun 3in(?) gun from another USN ship from the period.

the original drawing spacified 4" guns and I have not found one that fits yet. I am still keeping my eye open for one.
