And you still think america has the biggest thing's?
*DATA CAN BE WRONG, but i relay it is like 75% good, got it from multiple websites*

[ img ]
Yes this means im into it again.
If i will finish her? I dont know but progress will/is be/being made right now.

Stat's of this massive ship:
Tonnage:110.000 ton's aprox (can be higher)
Lenght:345 meter's tall.
Beam:51.5 meter's.
Depth:12.7 meter's.
Speed: 30.1 knots (55.7 km/h).
Armament:
8 × 50.8 cm (20.1 inch) guns
12 × 15 cm (5.9 inch) guns
16 × 10.5 cm (4.1 inch) guns
28 × 3.7 cm (1.5 inch)
40 × 2 cm (0.79 inch) guns
Aircraft: 4–9 Arado 196 seaplanes, 1 catapult.

Turret stats:
20.1 inch barrel's, two times mounted in one heavy armored turret.
Weight of turret: 3960 tonnes (two fletcher class destroyer's)

Turret lenght: 35.2 meter's.
Turret height: 4.1 meter's (without turret housing)
Barrel lenght: 22 meter's (including the barrel inside the turret)
Rounds per minut: 1.2 round's aprox (depends on barrel heat)
Shell weight: AP:2150 kg, HE: 2150 kg
Shell lenght: 260 CM/2.60 meter's.
Ammunition in ammunition room per turret: Aprox 100-120.

The ship itself would be enormous.
The biggest ship in the world ever from 1944/45/46 *time build* until the USS Enterprise came into action in 1961.
She would still had the biggest tonnage ever, and the longest lenght.
But the Enterprise beats her with aprox 20meter's in width.

The armor of this ship would have been enormous, some information sheet's says she would have had 23'' Deck armor.
The others 22''.
What is for real, is that she would have a tripple layered (with space between) hull for mine's.
And a Bulkhead that is 4 times the size of the bismarck her bulkhead.
Some say that aprox 8 torpedoes where needed at the exact same spot to even penetrate a bit.

However to this major armor, she would not survive an air attack from Tall boy's.
The bom's that killed the majestic Tirpitz in Norway.

The story of the h44 hasnt been open up 100%, and many information is still at the russian archieves.
May we hope they come out some day.

Greetings

Mitch ;)

I still think America had the only industrial base to support something like this; Germany might be able to float something like this, but only at the expense of wrecking their wartime economy. And it's pretty hard to build a ship when B-17s are carpet bombing you to shit each day.

True that. Best Bomber of WWII, and the first plane I ever flew in (Nine-O-Nine, Collings Foundation).

Lol, I flew on 909 as well when it came here. Pretty cool experience, seeing my high school through the Norden bomb sight. If only that thing had some 500lb bombs on it at the time...;)

Haha. I sat in the Bombardiers seat for 20 minutes out of that entire flight. That was a nice view. If I had the money to buy it and maintain it I so would.

I found one issue.
I lost the places of the porthole's on her back.
Now i got to improvise or steal my h39's back with porthole's.

Big edit:
Nvm on h39 update for now.
I updated her and saved it.
I had another one open, saved it, and now its back to square.

She looks like a big, slow monster vulnerable to... Well, everything. You can't very well miss, even with a dumb iron bomb or a torpedo.
