That's cool. You're completely pants-on-head wrong, but whatever, your mind seems made up.

I take exception to that. I have my pants on correctly, with the zipper in front so I can see, eat and breath. It is difficult typing with my shoes on my hands though.

What size air group do you think this could carry, useing F-35 VSTOL/EH-101/Lynx? 6/4/2? 6/2/2? Less ? More?

Not enough to be useful.

But an apt summation of the concept.

I'd say 6/4/2 or even 6/2/2 might be a tad optimistic.
I'd just go with 6 Lynx or maybe 4 Lynx and 1-2 heavy choppers.

I don't know if you'd be able to get enough F-35 alone on there to make a difference.

Yeah, I was thinking about that this afternoon. lose the ski-jump and make it a pure helo carrier along the lines of the Japanese Hyuga. Thanks

Quite. On the original design, the lift would have had trouble getting a Harrier to fit. An F-35 is right out (on the original design). I've always been very doubtful of the top-weight issues that this particular design would have had.

That said, it's a very nice drawing. I may ponder the electronics fit and location if you want.

I really can't claim any credit for that drawing. All I've done is change out the Phalanx for GK, changed some of the radars for updated drawings, and extended the bow by a few feet. 97% of that drawing is Shiplover's. I've also flattened the ski jump now, but I don't have that ready for posting yet. Most of what I've done is try to figure out a way to make it a workable design. ;)
