Should probably replace the plane in the refit with the biplane you originally had on the "As Built" version since the Aichi didn't enter service till WW2.

Have you made sure to measure all the dimensions of this ship to ensure they are correct? I'm not saying that you are an idiot or that your drawing is wrong, it's just that this ship looks HUGE from the drawing. I know that Jap BBs had enormous pagoda superstructures but I wasn't aware that the Ise class had one larger than Yamato and Fuso (with Fuso being arguably the most famous for its massive bridge and fire control tower post-refit).

I will go over the hull and check the length of the hull.

I hand drawn everything total, I just had a drawing of her on the side. so there may be some small errors. I drew her with deck height of 18px, should perhaps use 17px as this is a Japanese ship. But my biggest problem was that she has a couple of half floors. and the funny is that in 1928 the Pagoda 2 to 3 lower deck and a few meters longer. while in 1933 she received a stern catapult and most likely also three decks to the pagoda.

And, Yes I am a idiot! but sometimes I'm clever. for example this topic is a WIP topic, and thus you boy and girls are more free to almost kill me!

Ah, well you have my respect for free-handing it. I'm a pussy and use Photoshop with a resized original plan below the drawing layer. But before that I always make sure to measure everything I can (at least whenever dimensions are available) to ensure that it's all correct.

Be carefull when drawing in free hand. 18 pixels is 2.74 meters, and 17 pixels is 2.5908.... the difference, roughly 15 centimeters (0.5 feet) multiplied in 10 times (ten decks) bring out an cumulative error of 8 pixels (thats half of a deck!) to the all meassures. Thats why I always recomendate to use either tracing technique, or having some real and accurate plans around you to make proper calculations to each measurement. Drawing accurately with free hand needs actually lot more math skills than drawing skills ;)

A man after my own heart by freehanding. As Golly says the maths can trip you up, even just trying to get some of the details to line up can force errors. Tracing is more accurate but IMHO slightly less satisfying.

Excellent work though.

Oh just one thing are you boys using 30,4cm or 30,3cm when you are calculating how long you're ship is in fot.

(2*fot*the length of vessel=SB?)

That's what I use: 1 foot = 30.48 centimeters
