ok, ok. raised the aft section of the bridge.

and not that it matters, the results would be the same albeit reversed, but you got my funnel arrangement wrong. The aft funnel is to starboard and the forward funnel is to port.

I know , but it was just an quick scratch. and you shall have to lower the funnels a bit too, as right now you still have an (smaller, but still) blind spot just above the horizon, the area anti-ship missiles really like to use.... you could of course discard that and leave it to the SPS-49 and the goalkeeper, but it would not be what I would prefer
on a sidenote, to be honest, seems I was right on the uglyness of this solution.
and please change that damned lynx -.- just to make certain that you understand what I mean: the drawing of it, not the helicopter it is representing.;)

I have to say the rounded funnels looks odd on a ship that is all angles.

SPS-49 has to be able to rotate.

I must ask, what is the reason that you have mid-ship VLS? Cause it seems this is the main source of problems for this design.

Simple answer, and not meant in a "smart-assy" way....

Because thats where I wanted them. *shrug* I like the way it looks and I'm able to fit more than a handful here and there. As narrow as the bow section is, no meaningful VLS battery could be fitted there, and I did not want to try and crowd them in aft of the helipad. I want something unique, not yet another Tico-clone.

I don't want to lower the funnels further, and definately don't want to raise the superstructure any more than it is, so I guess we will have to accept a small compromise with that minor blind spot and trust to the GK to catch anything in that area. That and the fact that these ships will rarely, if ever, operate solo, but will always be part of at least a Task group and will have numerous dedicated AAW destroyers and frigates in the screening elements.

Changed the Lynx. The only one I could find was on the Dutch parts sheet you linked to. I changed the colors from the Dutch to GHRN gray, and will most likely be changing to that version on all my ships that carry the Lynx.

You still can't actually use your air search set.

And why is that? It has room to fully rotate.
