I am trying to design a compact system based on the Spy-3.

In a large variation, I think about a kind of DDG-1000 variant only as a CGN in a conventional hull. but I've always wanted to try drawing it on a sort of oversized Ramform hull, with weapons.

But my goal is to try to get it to fit on a small destroyer, or by combining two different systems, a large frigate, by combining it with small, simple satellite disks and antennas with the SPY-3 and VSR.

Even with a ramform I doubt this thing will stay upright.

Build off of a simple regular hexagon or else you will run into endless frustration regarding the fields of view of the equipment.

...why not just integrate the system into the top part of the superstructure like everyone's trying to do, and as the design itself suggests?

I believe the red/green is intended to show a top view of the blue deckhouse, not a separate component on top of it.
