After having been decommissioned from the RAN, she spent several years laid up in Greece pending a cruise ship conversion that never happened.

Thanks Cobbers, and yes, she was bought for conversion, which weirdly echo's the fate of the Albatross, another 'one off' for the RAN - she was converted to a liner under the Greek flag. Now guys, I did offer the Supply to anyone with a current 'window of opportunity', as it was passed on to me. That said, I've just checked out the wip on it and I reckon I can finish her off withing the next couple of weeks - I go slow. :)

Cheers :) Re 'Building 215', am I right, that the Stalwart earned the moniker due to the amount of time she spent in the same berth?

A stalwart effort Bill. :)
Hoping to see it finished soon, and I hope HMAS Supply will follow soon.

She earnt it for a couple of reasons was due to its role as a fleet maintenance ship for the DDGs n DEs when deployed abroad and when it was tied up alongside its home port at Garden Island, Sydney it was always used as another "depot workshop" for the naval dockyard there.
