I tried to play Axis & Allies Guadalcanal but it was just way too much time and effort for a board game.

A&A is pretty darn simple as 'board games' go... pick up Star Fleet Battles or another sim-type boardgame.

See I just can't be bothered. Spending 4 hours on a board game just seems pointless to me.

The other thing is that nobody wants to play complicated board games with me anyway.
