Imperial Japan, naturally, had a number of minor combatant classes in her navy: minesweepers, escort and patrol vessels, gunboats, subchasers, torpedo boats etc. So, let's draw 'em
Here's the first: Ch-4 class submarine chaser. 9 of them - Ch-4 through Ch-12 - were built in 1938-1939.

CH-4 - survived war; ultimate fate unknown.
CH-5 - survived war; scuttled by Royal Navy off Singapore, 11 July 1946.
CH-6 - sunk by aerial attack at Palau, 31 March 1944.
CH-7 - sunk by aerial attack E of Car Nicobar Island, 11 April 1945
CH-8 - sunk in surface battle with British submarines H.M.S. Trenchant and H.M.S. Terrapin S of Penang, Malaya, 4 March 1945
CH-9 - ceded to Republic of China, but later captured by Communists; scrapped 1960.
CH-10 - constructive total loss after grounding on N tip of Palau atoll, 2 May 1944
CH-11 - sunk by aerial attack W of Buka, Bougainville, New Guinea, 6 November 1943
CH-12 - possibly sunk by submarine U.S.S. Bluegill (SS-242) E of Mindanao, Philippines, 13 August 1944

Six minesweepers of W-7 class were built in 1938 and 1939. They were development of the W-17 class with more firepower.

And here's the W-17 class that consisted only of two ships built in 1935. They were deeply modified W-13 class.

W-10 - sunk by aerial attack off Luzon, Philippines, 10 December 1941.
W-11 - sunk by aerial attack off Makassar, Celebes, 28 March 1945.
W-12 - sunk by submarine U.S.S. Besugo in Sape Strait between Sumbawa and Komodo Islands, 6 April 1945.

W-17 - survived war; scrapping completed in Sasebo by 1 April 1948.
W-18 - sank S of Hainan Island, China while under tow after damage by aerial attack, 27 November 1944.
