parts:
- bow gun is oto 76 stealth, better part around
- the harpoons, although very little is shown, should be the new launchers
- the director on top of the bridge is an STIR 180 or an STING 120, most likely the STING, which is not yet drawn, but I know this one is wrong :P will take a look if it is the STING if I can make an better one
- I have yet to identify the main radar, most likely it is also thales equipment. it might be an SMART-S, but this seems unlikely as that one is now replaced by the SMART-S Mk2.

the bridge wing seems a bit weird drawn, I know it is represented like that in the CGI but you can see how exactly it is shaped here: http://www.abload.de/img/4610200989_065234a640_9jz9.jpg

this might have to be moved to never build designs, as the real ship is not yet finished and (looking at other CGI's) the layout varies a bit, the thales renders are not always that accurate to the final design.

other then that, nice work

Thanks for comments.
But Ha! I knew i'm going to get you for the gun Ace... It's not suppose to be Oto 76 but United defence (BAE) mk 75. No offence, of course ;) Unless it's the same weapon?

For Harpoons; I thought I used the latest one from USN parts.

I agree about director; I tried to follow the reference in hands but if you'll have better option, great.

The radar should be EADS TRS-3D and here also I tried to follow reference; a bit different that in our parts?

I was wondering also wheather it be posted here but it's built, not comissioned, so I decided this would be the right place. Never Builds is for concepts etc., right?

well, the mk 75 is the USN version of the oto 76. but the mk 75 has not the stealth turret shown here. shown on the thales renders is an oto 76, but on other references an oto 76 LW turret is shown, which is 90% the same externally to the mk 75.
I see something yellowish on the harpoons, which should not be there... viewtopic.php?f=16&t=20 here you can find the new one.

do you have any intel on what the director is? there is almost nothing to find about the ship, so I can say nothing more then that STING is most likely.

thanks for finding that radar, it is not an thales system, it is german. this drawing looks good to represent it... you made it yourself?
it is the right place for an real ship, but as I have seen no pictorial reference of how the final ship looks, it might look different then what you have drawn here from the thales renders. (for example that gun, which we don't know for certain what type it is)

I was suspecting that might be the case with the gun. Some sources claimed that it'll be "updated and overhauled" so therefore I didn't use latest oto but relying reference.
You are right about Harpoons; I didn't use the latest after all.

I couldn't find anything about the director so I took one from PBs Ramadan-class and updated it a bit. Also the "Captain" and a flag is stolen from there ;) Same I did with a radar.

Also, I didn't find any photos of this one, only a Thales rendering you mentioned. Seems that egyptians has the same (nasty) habit than our Navy not to provide any pictures from their Navy vessels... Perhaps we'll just have to wait photos of it.
