thanks for the help I finally got it posted as a PNG file

A fine start. A few things to consider:
~The port holes on the hull are not SB standard color
~There are pixel errors on the 5ht and 6th funnels
~Casemates need shading, but I would suggest replacing them first
~Air intake thingys are unusual
~Everything on the deck looks plain and boxy
All in all though, it isn't a bad drawing.

That SOC Seagull on the catapult is way too early for that design, but I'm not sure what could be used in its place that's been drawn so far. The Curtiss pushers were used from time to time.

Thanks for the information. I know the subject is rough so far, I did not get into the detailing of the ondeck structures as much yet I was hoping. I am looking for more compleat information on the ship. I would like to find find some more information like about the bridge area and the air intake funnuls. I will look at the for the right color for the port holes. and see what the funnels are.
The casements you said need to be changed do you have any one you can show me tht would be correct. I took those off a other Lexington design. As you can see but the original drawings I had imagine the conditions of the design and some of the detailing is very much specalitive.

Funny, back in June I was working on an AU version of this ship. Turned it into a carrier a year after it was commissioned. It looks great, but I think the color is a little bit off. Also, the boat crane that you have is well ahead of the time frame this ship was designed in. And nice job on the plane too!

thanks for the imput. so do you think the hull is to dark a gray. what do you think the upper works shoul be. I will look for a better crane. The plane I tried to make from the persons drawing he posted. but at so small a scale and I do not know planes that well so thanks.
