What a great way to "recycle" a decomissioned warcanoe.

This is the decommissioned Spruance-class destroyer ex-Paul F. Foster (EDD 964) conducting a successful demonstration of shipboard alternative fuel use while underway in the Pacific Ocean on a 50-50 blend of an algae-derived, hydro-processed algal oil and petroleum F-76. Paul F. Foster has been reconfigured as the Self-Defense Test Ship to provide the Navy an at-sea, remotely controlled, engineering test and evaluation platform without the risk to personnel or operational assets.

I might have a go at drawing her.

Sorry Lt. East, but Acelanceloet already has a claim on her (he has done the rest of the Spruance variants with the exception of the Ticos, but this is not the direct source of his claim). While you have shown the ability to draw very well, Ace has her (and I think the Alternate TSSE designs for the Surface Warfare Test Ship designs, but I'm not sure) on his work list. It comes down to asking him, just as anyone wanting to do CGBL should ask me.

I do know that on the USN side, the Ticos (both Mk-26 and VLS) are getting long in the tooth, and that the Perry class frigates are in need of some serious work (and some people have already expressed interest in them, but a joint project isn't out of the question I don't think).

indeed, I have this ship on my list, and have started the research on her. I would be really glad though if you could take on the tico's :P as I personally have absolutely nothing with those ships, while I would like the entire 'spruance hull line' to be completed ;)

for the alternate TSSE: I am not sure if I take those, but most likely they will be made by me at some point, yes :P some others are earlier on the list right now.

Or maybe you could focus on doing ships that haven't already been drawn yet? Or are we only capable of rehashing stuff that more-talented artists have already done?
