actually, orange as a color for the underwater bits isn't any worse than the Italian green. ;)

Well, the hull is DONE. I hope.

I hereby beg the indulgence of the more experienced members of this forum in ensuring she's correct. Note that the vessel isn't actually shaded at this point- and that where it is, there are some inconsistencies. This is intentional, and is one of the purposes of this post! If one of the inconsistent areas (most notably, the 127mm AA emplacement supports) looks more appropriate, let me know. ALL advice will be taken into account and will be tested on the vessel to see what works best. Anyone here who can help me make this ship worthy of it's name, I stand ready to listen!

Need to Fix:
1.) Railing needs standardizing.

From a first look i can see the railings are wrong, they are twice as big from standard.

Radome - thanks, I'll start keeping a running list in the ship post as to what I need to fix on my next day off.

I've looked over the profile in Jentschura et al and compared it with yours. I can't find any missing bits or obvious errors.
There's a lot of overhangs and platforms to shade and you might want to use a couple of shades to make the bigger overhangs stand out.
