Before we begin, let me explain......

There are several factors which led to the creation of this ship:
1.) Having been on NationStates for 9 years and seen just about every unworkable, unfeasible, unrealistic and downright bloody stupid bit of naval and military hardware newbs can come up with.
2.) Having gotten about 3 hours sleep last night.
3.) Having worked the evening shift.
4.) With a really good head cold.
5.) And having a near hallucigenic level of cold medicines and remidies coursing through my system administered to me by my loving wife.
6.) And having no current projects I felt like screwing up in this condition.
7.) And having a rather twisted and somewhat suspect sense of humor.

I have come up with the design for the ultimate WW2 era super-destroyer, the Neverland Ship, NS Dr. Seuss.

So, did I miss any impossibilities on there? Or did I pretty much hit them all?

The VDS on the bow is a nice touch

I like this idea PB has, it would be interesting to see what comes out.
I like klag's best on terms of impracticality, sonar ops are going to have a lot of fun finding anything with those twin azipods on the bow.

Needed more guns, so 8 x 6" casemate guns added to each side.

PB you're quite right. Then we'll have a forum where APDAF can place his ships without annoying all of us ;) :D :D

Definitely, well done with the badge, made me chortle!

P.S. You should have double-row casemates aft too, right down to the waterline. We need more input from everyone to make this ship as ludicrous as possible...
