This is the first ship that I have created from scratch, it is most likely terrible. So I have put it here, in the hope that I might get some helpful comments. The story that I came up for the ship is that, after the Falklands War, the Royal Navy wanted an affordable ship, that would be able to battle an enemy and get there fast. To make the ship dangerous, I believe I have put on a 150mm gun and a couple of Exocet Missile Launchers. As I said, it's still a work in progress so I am planning to add more detail, I just wanted comments on the general layout of the ship.

Greetings!
Before everyone else tells you how awful they think your drawing is...
You should take a good look at real ships and take inspiration from those. Pick a 'mission' or role for your drawing and work from there. Look at the development of other peoples AU/personal designs.

Oh, and please don't call your ship 'Thatcher'!

Overly top heavy. She's going to have trouble getting anywhere as she has no engines (too small for nukes and no uptakes/exhaust vents). Also try and use the RN parts sheets for the correct, up to date parts. Think about the volume that various systems take up and work with that. Don't lave black lines just hanging in mid-structure, and pay attention to shading conventions.

Also note that we do not show the water as blue on the drawings. A simple line will suffice.
