Even the siluette is similar - with the only diffrence in having the two forward mounts on each bow instead of your with a raised mount

Yes - the author do in fact suggest that your type of mounting is better but not suitable due to stability and internal space.

Now with a proper template and all. The other two units will be named Aarhus and Odense respectively. The three cancelled units would have been named Silkeborg, Viborg and Frederecia.

I like your protected cruiser very much, Thiel. Only two questions: "KB" - what does that mean? Also, I thought the Danish prefix was HDMS....
