Excellent drawing! Interestingly she was the only one of her class to survive the war but ran aground in 1946.

Very nice, I love these old IJN ships, nice to see more on the boards. I'm guessing we'll see more of these as most mid-period IJN destroyers were of this layout.

Superb drawing Alex. One remark for you, as most Japanese destroyers in 1930's carried their number on the bows and name along the hull (a practice which the JMSDF continued - see my thread about those ships)

The numbers on the bow actually indicated which destroyer squadron the ship belongs to such as the ship in the image above belongin to destroyer squadron 5.
