Thank goodness for Alex being around when I'm not. Yes, it's like he said; it's a tarp (or canvas) wrapped around the front section of the bridge roof! As for erik's suggestion: I knew about those, but for some reason never thought of them, so very nice of you to remind me. Yes, they might, indeed suit this version much better!

In lieu of my update of the Halifaxes, I decided to give the Tribals a corresponding 'facelift' in addition to the ones I already gave in June. So here's the H.M.C.S. Athabaskan once more (p. 1). Later I'll refresh the Huron, and will also do the MARLANT flagship Iroquois and MARPAC ditto Algonquin. The Athabaskan is usually serving as SNMG-1 flagship, when not alternating with the Iroquois as MARLANT flagship.

I'm still wondering about the NSSM launcher on these ships. they seem to predate the mk 48, but are still very similar....
EDIT: did some research. this system was completely unique, and what is now drawn doesn't quite cut it I will try to draw the system out as soon as possible.....
