Greetings all,

I'm planning on drawing an icebreaker soon for my AU nations navy (the Sieranian Republic Navy thread in the AU forums) and I'm trying to find good references or plans for icebreakers of the 1900-WW2 period. So far I haven't really been able to find anything useful.

Anybody know where I might be able to find some good references?

Interesting. Mind if I use it as a basis to create a larger icebreaker? (as in, using the basic look but not any actual parts)

Yeah, I've been researching how they operated. I'm thinking a combination of this with the Krasin for my own might work. Also found the Tarmo which might make another starting point.

Krasin as well Tarmo were coming from UK: at that time the IB design was sharing the hull "protection" with BBs.
