Excellent work Bombhead. A nice looking frigate, very much has that Type 42 feel crossed with a bit of Type 22. Ah, if only the warship export market had have been as strong in the early 1980s as it is now.

Is there only one Type-909 illuminator on board the Type 2043? If so, I think if she participated the Falklands, she would end up be worse than Type 42.

Fair point Clonecommander,but when you look at the fact that of the 6 Sea Dart armed escorts with the task force,2 where sunk and 1 so badly damaged she had to go home, maybe a backup system might have been prudent.

Since I found the Type 2402,any suggestions for export versions?I have aldeady an Omanese Navy one.

Iv'e basically finished with my British version so feel free to do whatever export versions you like,change the weapons and radar fit etc.Maybe the Sultan of Brunei fancies a new toy or 2.
