Was reading another forum were members were speculating about the perfect anti-piracy vessels. I thought to myself wouldn't that be a good project for shipbucket artists based on existing designs or personal designs.

I personally like the idea of something like the Absalon maybe not with the 127mm on it but the modular concept of it. They'd be useful outside of anti piracy work too unlike a dedicated anti piracy vessel.

A high endurance OPV of some sort.27ish knots, small crew, a couple of high speed boats, hanger for one or two medium helicopters, long endurance, long range, a single light gun and a brace of HMGs and that's it.

Or a large OPV/Corvette with a mother ship with extra crew, logistic and engineering support, Large patrol helecopter
