HHoMS Lord, when she was active again after a major refit:

The phrased arrays would more likely be angled back. The best aspect for a phased array is, of course, exactly perpendicular to the surface. Long Beach's (and Enterprise's) SPS-32/33 was explicitly a very long range search and track set, with intentionally low precision. As such, pointing it right at the horizon made sense - that's where your targets were (even 5deg above the horizon at 200nmi is... extremely high altitude). A system that is for higher precision search and fire control at shorter range (like SPY-1, APAR, Grave Stone, etc etc) will be angled back so that the maximum useful radar elevation is approaching straight up.

These phased arrays probably won't be very good for very long range search. A dedicated rotating array (probably 2D, like LW-08 or something) would be an appropriate addition. I don't know how necessary your current rotating array is. The range is likely to be low.

For all this equipment, the superstructure block is actually very small! I think it probably needs more volume inside for both people and electronics. Remember that it's mostly at a 45 degree angle, so it's not nearly as big a box as it looks from the side.

The navigation light (green thing on dark gray thing) doesn't make sense in its current location.

I don't see any ESM/ECM, or VHF/UHF comms. Just HF. HF is good for some stuff (long range comms with other ships), but you need VHF and/or UHF as well. And of course something this big needs ESM/ECM equipment.

It would also make a lot of sense to distribute some of the illuminators along the superstructure aft, as the field of view for each illuminator would be better.

Four screws is an awful lot. It means four sets of reduction gears. I don't think there's a single post-WW2 combatant of less than CVN size that has more than two screws.

It would make more sense, of course, to have a 76mm on each beam and a 5" (?) on the centerline forward.

Some TACAN is necessary!

The forward liferafts are in a dangerous position, and I'd expect them to be lost to a heavy sea.

I'll take to make the changes you mention / suggest, upgrade radar, etc. shall just make me a list of what you say and then ....

Almost done to fix the errors / problems I'd had that Erik_t wrote about: superstructure remind now a little more on Long Beach as it suits this type of ship's quite good.

Note this is this class of ship as build, what is lacking is the upgraded version of the first one and Refit version of the two that were placed in reserve fleet at the end of their service period.

So before I continue, it is something I am missing?

an old lady, you've seen it before so I say nothing, only that it was haram naval attempt to build a large monitor, the only advantage of this class had is that 5-8 of them could manage to defend themselves against a battleship . But Haram had only one and it was HHoMS Box.

Armar Equipment was:

6 * 6 " but because of weaknesses in the design, it was decided 5" standard guns instead. (But some of the Haram marine experts believed that they should rather go for the 4.25" DP guns instead
