OK... found the ship- looks like the Eduard Bohlen, lost in 1909.

All I can say is she musta been lost in a helluva gale- looks to be an eighth of a mile or more from the surf!

offshore: waves up to 15 meters, where the 7th wave can reach 30 meters! "that's gonna be fun!"
