This is a great beginners drawing, welcome to SB KHT!
While I can't comment on Swedish ship design, I can help you get it to SB standards.
-The railings should be slightly darker than the hull colour. Like the ladders fore and aft.
-Windows should be outlined in black.
-The shading on the armour belt should probable be lighter than the hull colour, due to the angle it is.
-Shading could be added to the edges of the funnels to show curvature.
-Shading also on the turrets.
Hope this is some help mate!
Will do. Any advice is of help!
Also, though the sweeping curve at the midbreak is very attractive, it might be difficult to produce such a feature within the upper belt. Perhaps a less rounded feature might be appropriate, or at least ending that particular section of the belt short of the curved plating?
All in all, a beautiful vessel!
... Midbreak? Hehehe...(awkward laughter)
Much better, but the C deck (the level above the B gun) isn't nearly tall enough. There should be at least 14 pixels (7 feet) between decks.
Couldn't have mentioned that sooner?
i use 17 to 18 pixels!
It will be about 15 pixels, I could say straight of in advance. That's what I can pull of at max without having to heighten the barbette for B turret, which is something I want to avoid.
Thank you all for your advice, I will make sure to apply as many of them as I can!
