I do speak some Japanese, and I do recognise the immense difficulty in actually correctly transliterate Japanese. However, the suggestions I've offered are the established ones, you may take my word for it or not, ace. It's your call, your drawing. However, be prepared, if you insist on using the tilde as a marker, that some people will call your ship, not Kongoo, but Kongnjoh! See the damaging result? And my attempt here is probably not very close to the mark, since it's hard to do it without the proper symbols!

Golly, I'm not sure you can save files with diacritic signs, but I'm not an expert on that...

I would think that 'Kongo' is appropriate, otherwise you'll be opening a 'can of worms' ;)

small update with my current U/W hull style, more accurate especially in the bilge keel.

Not sure I understand what you mean by "my U/W hull style", considering we already have one that's been in use since day one...

For example: http://www.shipbucket.com/Real%20Design ... 201943.png

It looks kind of the same as Colosseums picture... with a pixel or two more shade.
so you can't say that Colosseums hull is wrong, because it's basicly the same as yours.
Iv been doing this since my first day here. it's not new.
