Great work Bill. She looks great, this is one of the more unusual unusual rebuilds for a destroyer. She certainly looks nothing like a Battle. One can see that the Treasury might have been happier with a rebuild of an existing ship but given the scale of the changes I wonder whether a purpose-built trials ship would have been better.

Thanks Shipmates :) This has been one of those infuriating projects that appeared easy to start with; thinking, I only have to modify my original drawing!! But there is so very little info on this intriguing ship, that I'm still not sure if I've quite got it right. And thanks BH for the link, one I've seen but hadn't thought to include. On equestion does intrigue me; that is, if Russian's went for big hull-mounted sonars, why not the same in the Western navies? Though it is Saturday night and I'm a bit mellow 8-)
