You can get more deck space if you flip the 2 center turrets around, just check out some BB's in the Russian folder. Also, I beleive those turrets are KM form WWII.
By the way, you should do away tith the square windows on the stern and add a gallery instead.

... Is it really hard to select a section and hit delete, before filling with grey?

And I'm in agreement with others, I don't think you can really split your engine room like that
