Who said you need to ditch it? No, just consider the advice, compare with real missile cruiser conversions etc, and you'll end up with a nice piece of work. The thing is that when we volunteer to publish our achievements here at SB, sometimes we simply have to be prepared to receive quite heavy flak. It's happened to me, it's happened to ace. Neither one of us have, however, given up or simply scratched designs. Now, if you feel strongly about your Ellis, then you should keep her and continue to improve on her. ;) :)

There's nothing inherently wrong with having SSMs on her, you just have to sacrifice something else to get them.
You could do like they did on Peder Skram and replace the B turret with launchers.

Weight of these SSMs is 6,400kg by quadruple launcher, so I can delete the 2 middle Allagarto guns to save side weight.
Do we have DDG Forrest Sherman on the Shipbucket?

much better already. now we have something that might actually work!..... apart from the SSM position. you'd better put it somewhere where there is space for them, which is not here, and also not on the place of the '76 turrets. an good position might be the B turret or the stern.
