By now we've all probably seen the photo's, and for me its been continuous radio coverage: I even got a text this afternoon half way through a meeting. So, sensible closure; no trial, no chance to rally the faithfull, and this explains why the defence of Sirte was so ferocious. I would like to think that now the Libyan people will be able to rebuild their nation, without being inundated with 'carpetbaggers', but I'll just go read Kipling's 'The God of the Copybook Headings' to remind me how the world works.
