Second funnel seems fake and doesn't make sense on a ship this slow; what was it for on the real deal?

some you can see here, both off them are in use. probably it is one per boiler.

Ships had two real funnels, because the machinery spaces were divided for survivabilty. The ships were also of comparativly shallow draught, because they were meant to carry troops.
