Fantastic looking pair you have there Hood. (Oh, my that sounded bad). The Eagle would have been somewhat of a beast one would imagine.

The Blackburn B.44 floatplane fighter, never flown but subject to model tests, especially with the novel floats etc. Here is a production example in SEAC colours.

I'll be doing its bigger daddy soon...

Certainly interesting, but awesome? um..... Blackburn produced some decent biplanes, then some god-awefull monoplanes, nearly went belly-up, but redeemed themselves with what is arguably one of the very best strike aircraft - the Buccaneer (Long John Silver..."Where's my buccaneers"). All that apart, another gem from Hood :)

The bigger Blackburn B.20 which did fly but never entered production. It has two Rolls-Royce Vulture 24-cylinder engines which also had teething troubles.

I just was reading about it the other night. Very nicely done. Please draw it with the float lowered.

Still got details to add and shading to do, but thought it'd be best to hoik her up here and get some feedback:

So, the 1934 Bristol Type 133. A four gun monoplane intended for the F7/30 competition which was won by the Gloster Gladiator. While a promosing design the single prototype was lost before trials commenced.

Excellent start Chris, one of the uglier early monoplanes but certainly it might have been an advance on the Galdiator etc then in use.
Can't wait to see it finished, will you be doing an interwar silver scheme?

This is a real treat, an almost unknown aircraft design, a real 'what if'; and I can't wait to see more :)

And a great website :)
