Not bad, though I have to say the launcher looks too large for the missile.
How do you mean?

The whole arm assembly seems massively over-engineered compared to the relatively small missile they fire.

Ah okay. What would you suggest. Reduce the arm size?
Or could I be cheeky and say it was designed so that it could take larger missiles if they were developed later (or boosted versions of these)

The arms should be substantially thinner and less beefy. Large arm = heavy = slow to accelerate and decelerate when attempting to slew to a new bearing quickly.

Four, maybe five pixels (black, gray, gray, black) should be enough. That is a two-foot-thick section, after all!

Thought I would add this here:

It will be added too as time goes on, and as more designs are developed. I will also be organised into type of vessel eventually.

Yes I'm posting a lot but shhh....

I'm thinking about another frigatey destroyer thing. Not sure whether to do a pre or post Freyr...
Also, do you think I could operate the Yak-38 off of my Lysander heli carrier? Cos otherwise I be building a full carrier at some point (late '70's most likely), which could later operate the Yak-141...

Define operate. Assuming the elevators are big enough then it should do well enough as an aircraft ferry and maybe even as an extra repair platform and it might serve as a training platform for a very limited number of them, though I wouldn't count on it.
The limited number of aircraft it'll be able to support and the fact that they'll be restricted to vertical take-off means that it won't be able to support any kind of combat op, even in the short term.

Sounds about right. Maybe a small carrier should be a future acquisition then.

Right. The beginnings of the Theseus class carrier.
I mainly want to think about the hull, and about what I could get into a hull this size in terms of air group. I'm intending to operate the Yak-38 and the Ka-25/27. I am considering a ski jump.

Yes it's very bland right now, but it will be heavily modified.
