I would suggest possibly carrying on along the route you've taken. Perhaps amalgamating FX and AX into F/AX ^^... You could get Su-27s/ Su-30s bringing better commonality etc.

FX and AX will probably combine as you say... and I like the su-27 derivatives... but I'd like to make my own planes, if I can. If not, I'll probably have to go with those.
