Agreed, a very pretty ship. The Swedish equivalent of "Nagato" perhaps?

My favorite though are the Modified "Captain"-class CL's.

Her main source of inspiration was the QE's but there became alot om similarites with the Nagato aswell. She is designed as a "all or nothing" type battleship and also the first swedish battleship with dedicated antiaircraft arnament.

I think she´s a good ship for homewaters, and with some pacific capability. The Soviet sailors mightmare....

This is Sweden's only Semi-Dreadnougt, initally a planned class of four but construction was halted by the arrival of HMS Dreadnought so only HMS Dristigheten was completed according to plan, the following Tapperheten was rebuildt to armoured cruiser/ battlecruiser on the same hull.

I am supposing the hangar is very light in order to reduce stability issues, other than that, fine set of drawings in a marvelous collection you have Psilander

The hangar is quite light weight, but do also have to replace the weight of the lost aft turret and barbette..The seakeeping was a real mess to get working, and it still doesn't work out
