These yawls were designed by Luders Marine Construction Company for the United States Naval Academy. Twelve, build of mahogany, were in service at Annapolis by 1943. A later class was built in the 1960s using fiberglass hulls but the same design; three of these vessels were converted to sloops and sold to the Chilean Naval Academy (and if someone has any images, I'll draw those too.)

And drawing small ships is a lot harder than I anticipated.

Oh, very nice. Seems to me that making those small ships is truely an art-form in itself. Good work.

As promised - three of these boats were sold to the Chilean Escuela Naval "Arturo Prat", and modified as sloops.
