If you like submarine sims, get SH3 and then DL the Grey Wolves Expansion Pack...it will blow SH2 out of the UNIVERSE!

The funnel looks very small for a ship that size, diesel? (Sorry about the derailment)

Not diesel. It was steam and yes, they had very small funnels.

Very nice job, Novice and heuhen!

Here's a small Polish coastal passenger steamer. She was built in Great Britain in 1928 named Wanda. When the WW2 begun the crew scuttled her at the port of Gdynia. After the war the wreck was raised, repaired and renamed Barbara.

Here is another classic.
The 'Four Aces' were four passenger-cargo ships of the American Export Line. Built during the war as Amphibious Attack Transports (APA), four were converted with accomodation for 125 passengers, the passengers areas all being air-conditioned. The ships were name Exeter, Excambion, Excalibur and Exochorda. These ships were replacement for the pre-war 'Four Aces' sister-ships built in 1929-1931, three of which were sunk during the war while acting as Attack Transports, the fourth being sold in 1952 to Turkey as Tarsus.

Novice, this is GREAT! Did you know that one of the post-war Four Aces, the EXCAMBION, lasted until a few years ago as the training ship TEXAS CLIPPER? She was finally sunk as a diving reef on 17/11/'07.
I love all your work on the MARAD ships. The Americans sure built some reliable and good looking ships, with many of them lasting over 40 years!
