The air wing looks makes me think it's depicted around 42'-43' Though I may well be wrong.

1941 actually, she lasted until 1972 when she was sunk as an artifical reef.

Then you might want to add a little bit of curve (sheer?) to the bow. It looks very antiquated for the time period.

You have a straight bow, or am I misunderstanding you? Unless the hull was built in Germany during the 30s, there was no real reason for that kind of bow shape during the 40s'.

she was laid down in 1934 as dreadnought and her hull was nearning compeation in 1937 when the Alliance Navy board of adminstators pulled the plug on the dreadnought, so the shipwrights finnished her as an aircraft carrier and she was launched in 1939 and was comisiond in early 1941.
