There was a news bit over here last night about how they build and transport the blades of a wind turbine to the off shore mountings. Does anyone know what sort of ship they use? Has anyone drawn it? Has anyone got any photos of it?

The wings are transported on fairly standard ships, usually heavylift, thought the carrying rig is specialized. The ships that carry and install the towers though.

Yeah, nothing like a highly wind sensitive aircraft in an area that is, out of necessity, extremely windy.
